<br />
I just love blog layout from <a href="http://leelou-freelayouts.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"><b>Leelou Blog</b></a> so I decided to use one of her layout again like the one I use for the winter..<br />
I've already planned for my next paper art project, so I'll see you again by then... <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841723640.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="grin" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841723640.gif" /></a>Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-84578503368707222722012-04-10T19:08:00.000+08:002012-04-10T19:08:15.986+08:00Alter EgoFinally launched my 2nd blog for my other craft : <a href="http://orenjicat.blogspot.com/" target="_blank"><b>Alter Ego</b></a>Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-46089974312398638212012-01-08T12:07:00.000+08:002012-01-08T12:07:07.690+08:00~桜くす玉~ Kusudama Sakura (2nd Version)This type of Sakura Kusudama is different from <a href="http://orenji-cat.blogspot.com/search/label/sakuradama">the one I made before</a>. This one was created by Tomoko Fuse, and like most of her kusudama works, the units are also united through pocket system.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Sakura01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Sakura01.jpg" width="154" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Zoomed in :</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Sakura02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Sakura02.jpg" width="194" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I made this from 7 x 7 cm light blue paper as the main ball and flowers, and 2 x 2 cm yellow paper as the inner part of each petal.<br />
<br />
I decided not to add any butterflies this time because I think this kusudama is already 'crowded' enough with the flower anther and filaments which I attached at the center part of each flower.<br />
The instruction to make this type of kusudama was published in Origami Tanteidan Magazine, number 72. I got it downloaded from > <a href="http://www.paperkawaii.com/2010/12/14/cherry-blossom-kusudama-diagram-video/"><b>HERE</b></a> <<br />
<br />
I must say that this is the most difficult kusudama I've ever made so far. Folding the units are not so difficult. But when it came to uniting them, I got the urge to slam my head toward the wall a couple of times <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841548115.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="confuse" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841548115.gif" /></a><br />
Usually I only need a few hour to finish one kusudama. But for this type, I spent 3 days to complete! <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841813878.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="weep" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841813878.gif" /></a><br />
That's why I decide to refuse any request to make this kusudama as a mass project!Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-63157998783351570092011-12-27T22:35:00.001+08:002011-12-27T22:38:15.625+08:00~ゆりくす玉~ Kusudama LilyI hardly remember the last time I worked on kusudama project. I think it's already around 2 years ago for Lia's wedding...<br />
Recently I had the urge to make kusudama again and I thought that I will try to make the thread type. It means that the kusudama units are connected by thread.<br />
<br />
This is my first project for thread type of kusudama which created by <b>Tomoko Fuse</b> :<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/yuri-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/yuri-01.jpg" width="161" /></a></div>I made it from shocking pink and yellow 120g papers sized 7cm x 7cm. The main ball consists of 24 units of origami lily.<br />
I also attached 2 metallic green <a href="http://orenji-cat.blogspot.com/2009/03/swallowtail-butterfly-origami.html"><b>swallowtail butterflies</b></a> made from 7cm x 7cm metallic green origami papers and a mix green <a href="http://www.nezumiworld.com/crochet_057.htm"><b>tassel</b></a> :<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/yuri-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/yuri-02.jpg" width="193" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Yuri-03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Yuri-03.jpg" width="173" /></a></div><br />
When I finished making it, one of my aunt saw it ans asked me to make one for her so she can hang it in her car. I make the smaller one because I think the size of the pink one will bother her vision while driving :<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Yuri-04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Yuri-04.jpg" width="153" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Yuri-05.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Yuri-05.jpg" width="173" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Yuri-06.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Yuri-06.jpg" width="158" /></a></div><br />
I made this one from 5cm x 5 cm 120g red papers for the main ball and metallic gold origami papers for the butterflies. <br />
Here's the comparison for the size of these 2 Lily Kusudamas :<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/yuri-07.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="222" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/yuri-07.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
I'm eyeing another flower kusudama by <b>Tomoko Fuse</b>. But I will finish my paper model projects first which are currently pending because I had to make the pink lily kusudama for a farewell present which I'll give to my former Japanese teacher. She will be leaving soon after the new year, so I have to finish it first then I'll continue to work on the paper model project.Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-86494159470426559692011-12-23T11:07:00.000+08:002011-12-23T11:07:44.160+08:00Winter LayoutI know it's pretty late to change the layout since winter has came for quite sometimes. But I still want to bring winter feel for this journal since I don't live in a country which experience winter every year. Well at least this journal makes me feel so.. <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841566513.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="hehe" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841566513.gif" /></a><br />
<br />
I'll have pretty long break from office so I'm going to work on paper crafts again since I have some people I want to give a small present later. So, I'll see you again when they're done <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841723640.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="grin" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841723640.gif" /></a><br />

<div style="text-align: center;">Yuichi deshita! </div>Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-30661884697965969992011-05-11T22:07:00.000+08:002011-05-11T22:07:55.097+08:00Paper Model # 8 : Ginger SilvineI found this model when I was browsing the internet around a month ago. This model was created by Atrus and if I'm not mistaken this model was inspired by one of Tatsunoko's anime series quite some time ago which titled <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samurai_Pizza_Cats">'Samurai Pizza Cats' or 'Kyatto Ninden Teyandee' </a><br />
It's pretty hard to find the pattern for this model because most of the uploaded links are dead <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841704906.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="sweat" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841704906.gif" /></a><br />
<br />
I started to build this model a week ago and here's the result :<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/GingerSilvine-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/GingerSilvine-01.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/GingerSilvine-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/GingerSilvine-02.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/GingerSilvine-03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/GingerSilvine-03.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<br />
Actually it's quite hard for me to build this model because the assembling instructions are not detailed. So I had to figure out myself how to fold and assemble its parts <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841704906.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="sweat" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841704906.gif" /></a><br />
So I decided to make another one to make the assembling instruction with more details later. But I think I'll make the second one with different color of papers so it'll like I have 2 different Silvine models <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841723640.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="grin" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841723640.gif" /></a>Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-64281641682067541982011-04-12T06:57:00.000+08:002011-04-12T11:39:05.191+08:00New Layout and Another Hand Made GoodsFinally I had times to change the look of this blog. I feel like I want to make this blog themed with cherry blossom since I think it's already the season for them to bloom <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841566513.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="hehe" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841566513.gif" /></a><br />
Then I found this layout while browsing the net and I like it a lot..<br />
<br />
<br />
Another thing is, my friend made 2 cellphone straps for me!! <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841515727.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="love" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841515727.gif" /></a><br />
She likes to work with beads so she made these phone straps for me :<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/2011-04-07183405.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/2011-04-07183405.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">The white and pink one is a rabbit and the blue and green one is a flower ball</div><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">Here's how they look when being attached with my cellphone </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/androidgalaxyace.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="304" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/androidgalaxyace.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Aren't they cute?! <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841850597.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="beg" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841850597.gif" /></a><br />
Please bear my crazyness about hand made goods....Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-52117453892931623552011-01-02T21:25:00.002+08:002011-01-02T21:34:41.848+08:00雛人形 ~ Hina Dolls<span style="font-size: small;"> FIrst of all, I'd like to say Happy New Year to everyone. May this year also bring good things for our lives </span> <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841723640.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="grin" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841723640.gif" /></a><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">I always adore Hina Dolls which usually display on The Girl's Festival (March 3rd) in Japan. I've planned to make them quite a long time ago, but there're some circumstances which made me delayed the making, like waiting for the washi papers to arrive because I asked my friend who's currently studying in Japan to buy them for me, and I couldn't decide which type of dolls I'll make between these 2 types : <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841548115.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="confuse" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841548115.gif" /></a></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/95.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/95.jpg" width="261" /></a></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: small;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/91.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/91.jpg" width="260" /></a></span></div><span style="font-size: small;"> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"> </span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;">Finally I decided to make the robes like the first picture and because I want my dolls are in sitting position, so I used the 2nd picture's body part and the hairstyles as the reference. And I also reduce the size of the dolls because I think the size from that book are too big (the heights are approximately 21 cm for the sitting dolls)<a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841704906.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="sweat" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841704906.gif" /></a></span> <br />
<span style="font-size: small;">So I made my dolls around 13 cm in heights. Here they are : </span><br />

But one day I stumbled <a href="http://333bankin.blog58.fc2.com/"><b>here</b></a> and found out about <a href="http://333bankin.blog58.fc2.com/blog-entry-704.html"><b>this model</b></a>. Then I decided that I'll definitely make one someday <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841723640.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="grin" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841723640.gif" /> </a><br />
<br />
I've been delaying the making for quite some times. And since I've already got all of the color papers I need, I printed the paper tonight and it marked this project to start.<br />
<br />
I got the feeling that this will take quite long time for me to finish. I'll update this post every time a certain part is finished so I can trace how long that I take to finish this project since I started it.<br />
<br />
I got the patterns <a href="http://333bankin.blog58.fc2.com/blog-entry-693.html#more"><b>HERE</b></a><br />

I thought that I'd better make something for the present rather than think of buying something for her who can buy anything because she's the favorite child by her father <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841704906.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="sweat" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841704906.gif" /></a><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b>PARTY PIERROT</b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Front view</b></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-01.jpg" width="300" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Side view</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-02.jpg" width="285" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Rear view </b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-03.jpg" width="248" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"> I add an umbrella for this doll. I made it from 10 x 10 cm size paper, made a <a href="http://orenji-cat.blogspot.com/2010/03/3d-origami-dolls.html">Kusudama Venus part's folding</a>, and attached the umbrella holder :</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Kasa.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="296" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Kasa.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Complete Variation</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-04.jpg" width="296" /></a></div><br />
The reason why I named this doll Party Pierrot only simply because of the paper pattern <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841723640.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="grin" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841723640.gif" /> </a><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-05.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-05.jpg" width="301" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">I arranged them into a plastic case and attached a birthday salutation on the back of its head :</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-06.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/ParP-06.jpg" width="215" /></a></div><div style="text-align: left;"><br />
When I saw the final product, I don't know why I had the urge to sell it because it looks like it's saleable </div><a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841784990.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="yen" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841784990.gif" /></a><br />
But I'm still going to give it to my cousin on her birthday anyway... <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841566513.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="hehe" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841566513.gif" /></a><br />
<br />
The instructions for making this doll are the same with my <a href="http://orenji-cat.blogspot.com/2010/09/3d-origami-doll-02-balloon-pierrot.html"><b>Ballon Pierrot</b></a><br />
<br />
By the way, I also made an arrangement for the Powerpuff Girls paper models inside a plastic box. I posted the picture at <a href="http://orenji-cat.blogspot.com/2010/05/paper-model-1-powerpuff-girls.html"><b>their post</b></a>.Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-4618166286887308562010-09-18T14:52:00.002+08:002010-09-18T19:43:30.010+08:003D Origami Doll # 02 : Balloon PierrotFinally I could make this doll because my 'partner in crime' was accidentally found small ball-shaped stereo foams in a store and bought them for me <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841723640.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="grin" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841723640.gif" /></a><br />
<br />
So I stated to make a 3D origami clown doll which supposed to look like this :<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Baloon.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Baloon.jpg" width="246" /> </a></div><br />
But when I was making it, I decided to make some modification because I felt like I want it to have legs with clown shoes. So this is how my doll turned out to be :<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Balloon Pierrot</b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Front View</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-01.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-01.jpg" width="364" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Side View</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-02.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-02.jpg" width="348" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Rear View</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-03.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-03.jpg" width="356" /></a></div><br />
I'd like to show you the modification for its legs and shoes, so I zoomed in those parts :<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-04.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="263" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-04.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
We can see it fully modificated when it's laying down :<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-05.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="248" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/BaPie-05.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
All of the costume parts which built this doll were made like <a href="http://orenji-cat.blogspot.com/2010/03/3d-origami-dolls.html"><b>Bell Flower Origami</b></a> with different size of papers :<br />
<ol><li>Hat : 1 piece of 12 cm square paper</li>
<li>Collar : 8 pieces of 6 cm square papers</li>
<li>Sleeves : 2 pieces of 11 cm square papers</li>
<li>Body : 1 piece of 18 cm square paper</li>
<li>Pants : 2 pieces of 7 cm square papers</li>
<li>Head : 3 cm in diameter of a ball shaped stereo foam</li>
<li>Small yellow pompoms for the hat, hands, buttons, and the shoes </li>
<li>Small beads for eyes and nose</li>
</ol>Here's the <a href="http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php?quickkey=gg2q39s9wfwrkbq&thumb=4"><b>INSTRUCTION</b></a> of how to make this doll.<br />
<br />
I'm thinking to make another one as a birthday present for my cousin on her upcoming birthday. But I need to find the paper for the costume first <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841704906.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="sweat" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841704906.gif" /></a>Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-59964209047187373712010-09-16T22:12:00.000+08:002010-09-18T12:23:40.459+08:00Paper Model #6 : Kiss Kiss KissThe next one is ROMMY's bunny model by <b>Watanabe Tatsuya</b> :<br />

Trust me! I've been through that myself!<br />
The creator for ROMMY series was <b>Watanabe Tatsuya</b>. and like PPG paper models, the pattern for this model only need 1 sheet of A4 sized paper. And here's my result :<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b>ROMMY "No.02"</b></span></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><b>Front View</b></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/No2b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/No2b.jpg" width="247" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><b>Side View</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> <a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/No2c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/No2c.jpg" width="254" /></a></div><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><b>Rear View</b></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/No2d.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/No2d.jpg" width="285" /></a></div><br />
I made 2 of them because the test print pattern was alright , so I just built it up XD<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/No2e.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="207" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/No2e.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />
See?? Don't you think they're just lovably cute?? <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841515727.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="love" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841515727.gif" /></a><br />
<br />
You can find the pattern for this model <a href="http://rommy.kamimodel.com/index_e.html"><b>HERE</b></a>. And you can also see the other ROMMY models on that site which....I'm planning to make them all... <a href="http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/?action=view&current=1177841723640.gif" target="_blank"><img alt="grin" border="0" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/emoticons/CATZ/Pink/1177841723640.gif" /></a><br />

I failed to give her something last year because I didn't have any idea what to make for her. But this year, I gave her this :<br />

It's just that my lazy brother kept on pending to take the picture of them (-___- #)<br /><br />I got the idea for this project was because I want to make something for Valentine. Actually I wanted to make the advanced type of the rose but I failed to make it for days! o(_ _)o<br />Then I decide to make the intermediate rose model which I've already 'mastered'. Here's the 1st one :<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-02.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 770px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-02.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Butterflies </span><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-04.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 399px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-04.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-05.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 702px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-05.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Ribbon</span><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-06.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 492px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-06.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br />It's currently hanging in front my room's door :<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-01.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 667px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/SumVal-01.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I made everything for this project from papers. But after it finished, I got the feeling that I wanted to make this kind of project in 4 season theme (yes, I know I'm insane! XD )<br />I'll show the rest of them in the next posts.Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-84493374684754065292010-05-17T21:55:00.002+08:002010-10-18T12:11:23.263+08:00Paper Model # 1 : The Powerpuff GirlsI was browsing through the internet and I found something really interesting. Some people call it paper models and other peoples call it paper craft model. It's something made from paper and being built up as 3D models. The works consist of printing the patterns, cutting, folding, and sticking every part of the model with glue.<br />
<br />
I wanted to try in making The Powerpuff Girls because I like them a lot. Even at this age I still love to watch their series XD<br />
Other than that, they're classified as paper models for beginer. So I thought it wouldn't be that hard to make. When I was making them, I got the urge to whack the one who gave the information because they're really hard to make as a beginer! Why? Because the patterns mostly consist of curving lines. They're not just hard to cut, they're also difficult to be built with glue (-____- #)<br />
I've really been through some pretty hard times to build them o(_ _)o<br />
<br />
But I finally finished them in 5 days. Here they are :<br />
<span style="font-size: 130%;"><br />
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 130%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Blossom</span></span><br />

<br />
And together they are :<br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 130%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Powerpuff Girls</span></span><br />

I've been longing to have it for so long since I practically don't have a desk in my room other than my computer desk which is.... well... we can hardly see the top side of it because it's mostly covered with various stuffs XD<br /><br />I searched around my town to find a desk I want but I couldn't find it. SO I decided to order it at a carpenter shop near my office and it turned out to be a wonderful desk. I love it!<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The full view of the desk</span><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Desk-01.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 375px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Desk-01.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br />The dimension of the desk is l:70 w:70 h:30 centimeters. And if anyone's wondering about the brush under the desk, it's for my cat's fur XD<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;">Zoomed in the top side of the desk<br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Desk-02.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 375px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Desk-02.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>That green one is a cutting mat with A3 size. There's a 30centimeters metal ruler on the mat. Actually I have the longer one but it's borrowed by my brother at the moment I took this picture. Those boxes contain some stuffs :<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">My OLFA Treasure Chest</span><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/DarkBlueBox.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 375px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/DarkBlueBox.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />My Poster Paint Collection</span><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/LightBlueBox.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 375px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/LightBlueBox.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;">My Paper Glue Collection with another poster paints<br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/PaperGlueCollection.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 1160px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/PaperGlueCollection.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;">My Miscellaneous Goodies<br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/DarkRedBox.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 375px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/DarkRedBox.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Kyaaaaaaaa I LOVE IT !!!Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-42397006991531937332010-04-16T10:05:00.000+08:002010-09-06T12:03:07.106+08:003D Origami Doll # 01 : ShokoYATTA !! \(^o^)/<br /><br />I finally finished this doll!<br />This is what I said to be my 'obsession' XD<br /><br />Actually it's not so hard to make this type of 3D Origami Doll. The folding works are pretty easy. It's just that it's hard for me to find some materials for this doll (my usual basic problem -_____-;;)<br />The most difficult to find in my area was the head part. It's a ball-shaped stereofoam. It took me quite some times to start this project because I wanted to make sure that I've already had most of the materials I need.<br /><br />The theme for this doll was actually a country-style doll. Here's the original work :<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/34.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 950px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/34.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I couldn't find some of materials everywhere here. I couldn't fine the wool for the hair and that ready made hat. But I still want to make one myself, so I made some variations for my doll.<br /><br />VOILA !! Here's my version of this type of 3D Origami Doll :<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">SHOKO<br /><br /></span></span></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-01.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 851px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-01.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-02.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 811px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-02.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br />From this view, we can see the petticoat on top of its shoes :<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-03.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 822px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-03.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Upper body zoomed in </span><br /></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-07.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 486px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-07.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;">Side view<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-05.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 847px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-05.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Rear view </span><br /></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-04.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 748px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-04.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-06.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 374px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/Shoko-06.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I made the hair from black crepe paper and I changed the hat to be a bandana with 2 ribbons. And because of I was lack of that flower paper patterned, I changed the 2nd layer of the sleeves from the top with magenta tissue paper. Teehee.... ^^<br /><br />My friend said it's not like a country girl anymore because of the style... XD<br /><br />Here's the instruction to make it :<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/33.jpg"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 749px;" src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v207/rei_1012/VOX/33.jpg" alt="" border="0" /></a>Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-284676689041494001.post-8137417726139209412010-03-28T09:35:00.000+08:002010-09-06T11:32:18.085+08:003D Origami Dolls3D Origami Dolls basically only consist of 3 type of origami works :<br /><br />1. I found out about it months a go when I was browsing the internet and suddenly I had the urge to make one...no... some by myself XD<br />I bought 2 sets of Kurumi-e at first. Each set was already including :<br /><br />1. The pattern<br />2. 1 small sheet of thick paper<br />3. 1 small sheet of thick paper with sponge<br />4. Some small pieces of various type of paper (washi paper etc)<br />5. Ready-made face part<br />6. 1 Shikishi board<br /><br />The works are basically cutting the art papers then wrapped them onto each hard papers which are already been cut according to the main pattern, then they're being arranged on the Shikishi board by some glues.<br /><br />Here's the result of my 1st Kurumi-e :<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Childhood Friends</span></span><br /></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10c81970c-pi"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 559px;" src="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10c81970c-pi" alt="" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10c93970c-pi"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 667px;" src="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10c93970c-pi" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">ZOOMED IN</span><br /></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10cb5970c-320pi"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10cb5970c-320pi" alt="" border="0" /></a><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10cce970c-pi"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 667px;" src="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10cce970c-pi" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br />I decided to make the frame for it (of course) from paper. So I made a box with a see-through lid shaped of a frame :<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size:130%;">The Base<br /></span></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10cdf970c-pi"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 547px;" src="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10cdf970c-pi" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center; font-weight: bold;"><span style="font-size:130%;">The Lid<br /></span></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10cf0970c-pi"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 500px; height: 530px;" src="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10cf0970c-pi" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Here's my Kurumi-e inside its box frame :<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10d08970c-320pi"><img style="display: block; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 300px; height: 320px;" src="http://yuichi.typepad.com/.a/6a0133f3ae1b29970b013486d10d08970c-320pi" alt="" border="0" /></a><br /><br />Actually we can re-produce similar ones if we keep the pattern like I do (I made a copy of it at the beginning of the work). We also might be able to make them with different patterned papers. But we're going to need that ready-made face part and I'm very sure that I won't be able to find them around my area -____-;;<br />If only I found a way to get that face part, it'll be possible for me to make another one of this...<br /><br />I still have one set of Kurumi-e kit to be made. But I want to make something I've been obsessed first.. XD<br />I'll show it when it's done ^^Yuichihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06416153057545468186noreply@blogger.com0
