Spring has come! That means a new look for this place

I just love blog layout from Leelou Blog so I decided to use one of her layout again like the one I use for the winter..
I've already planned for my next paper art project, so I'll see you again by then...

Winter Layout

I know it's pretty late to change the layout since winter has came for quite sometimes. But I still want to bring winter feel for this journal since I don't live in a country which experience winter every year. Well at least this journal makes me feel so..  

I'll have pretty long break from office so I'm going to work on paper crafts again since I have some people I want to give a small present later. So, I'll see you again when they're done

New Layout and Another Hand Made Goods

Finally I had times to change the look of this blog. I feel like I want to make this blog themed with cherry blossom since I think it's already the season for them to bloom 
Then I found this layout while browsing the net and I like it a lot..


Another thing is, my friend made 2 cellphone straps for me!!
She likes to work with beads so she made these phone straps for me :

The white and pink one is a rabbit and the blue and green one is a flower ball

My Paper Art Station

Finally I officially have a place to work on paper arts. I've been longing to have it for so long since I practically don't have a desk in my room other than my computer desk which is.... well... we can hardly see the top side of it because it's mostly covered with various stuffs XD

I searched around my town to find a desk I want but I couldn't find it. SO I decided to order it at a carpenter shop near my office and it turned out to be a wonderful desk. I love it!

The dimension of the desk is l:70 w:70 h:30 centimeters. And if anyone's wondering about the brush under the desk, it's for my cat's fur XD

That green one is a cutting mat with A3 size. There's a 30centimeters metal ruler on the mat. Actually I have the longer one but it's borrowed by my brother at the moment I took this picture. Those boxes contain some stuffs :

Kyaaaaaaaa I LOVE IT !!!

It's been a while.... no..no... It's been A LONG TIME since the last time I posted my work. Well, a lot of things happened but I still be able to manage some times to make kusudamas. I think I'm going to do some massive posts later, but now I'd like to share something that I really love since the 1st time it was given to me.

A couple of months a go, my best friend's future husband and mother-in-law came and since their plane would transit in my city, they wanted to spend a few days here.My best friend and I planned to escort them around at first but then that plan was changed because an unexpected thing happened.
What made me feel touched was even though they were only met me once, they're so friendly to me. And Yukiko san (my friend's future mother-in law) gave me one of her hand made wood painting stuff. Here it is :



Very pretty, isn't it? I really love it!! I usually like any kind of hand made stuffs. This one is one of my most favorite hand made stuff!

That's right! It's a wooden brooch. It really looks pretty on my jacket's collar. It's just so irresistibly pretty!!

Origami

One of my favorite thing to do is Origami. But I don't really into 2D origami. I love to make Kusudama a lot even though I have to make lots of its parts first... I know that to make 1 thing over and over again is kinda boring, but I can do it while watching something on my PC so I won't feel bored... :p

So.. I'd like to share a little about making origami and kusudama that I have made just in case anyone interested in this journal. I hope I can make it easier for you in making them ... ^^
