Since today's my friend's birthday, I decided to make her a hanging sakuradama decoration for the birthday present. I made it sized exactly like the prototype I made before and this time I made it from peach art paper. Voila !!
This is kinda cute imo.. Made from 5 parts of 4 x 3 cm paper :
You can make it bigger or smaller by resizing the paper. If you want to make it kinda round like mine, then I suggest you to make the paper size by reducing a quarter of the width of a square paper.
Now here's the video to guide you in making sakura origami : HERE or HERE
This is another type of traditional Kusudama. I made this prototype by cuting a few 70 g A4 papers and each part sized 7 x 5 cm. The components of this kind of kusudama are 30 pieces :
This is my 2nd Kusudama prototype. I made the star parts from 6 sheets of orange origami paper sized 12 x 12 cm and 8 sheets of black origami paper sized 12 x 6 cm :
This is my very first kusudama prototype. It's a traditional Kusudama. I said it prototype because I made it for trial purpose. I made it from 30 sheets of notepad papers sized 8.5 x 8.5 cm
One of my favorite thing to do is Origami. But I don't really into 2D origami. I love to make Kusudama a lot even though I have to make lots of its parts first... I know that to make 1 thing over and over again is kinda boring, but I can do it while watching something on my PC so I won't feel bored... :p
So.. I'd like to share a little about making origami and kusudama that I have made just in case anyone interested in this journal. I hope I can make it easier for you in making them ... ^^
Well... here I go again at a different journal site.. I still don't have any idea how to keep this thing updated but I'll try.. Who knows maybe this time I can keep my journal longer than before... XD Beside.. I have a few things to be shared this time... So this journal won't be made for personal ramblings purpose only... ^^
